"Tatters, he was in tatters —" Every time I read this line, I tear up - I'm dead serious. It perfectly captures both of Aure's views on the situation: the personal and the professional. It paints such vivid imagery, too, which is where you shine as a writer; you paint wonderfully vivid and emotional pictures. I will call you "waifu" even if Verx does not ;) Can't wait for her and Soup Boy to bond further over his incapacitation <3
