She was beautiful and strong as ever, but he wouldn't put her in harm's way of Ursus. "Thank you, son." He praised before turning to Valour.

The boy was strange, seemingly almost shy of meeting them. He supposed both Valette and himself were quite a pair of intimidating folk to a stranger, but the man wouldn't let the boy go off so easily with wounds like those. He did save Clay, and that must be repaid-with kindness. "Why don't you stay?" He offered. "It is quite late, and you only just got here. Let us at least feed you and offer you rest."

He chuckled at his sons tenacious grip. "It seems Clay has certainly made up his mind."
