Assured her request had been heard, Raleska recognized the subtle signs that suggested Mal was preparing to leave. His body language was enough to impart his intentions, and she stood up alongside him with a shake of her ruff.
They were better met this time than the last, though part of Raleska still felt disabused by their last encounter. She gave an appreciative dip of her muzzle all the same, announcing her leave with a wave of her tail.
The road home was slow, and Raleska ranged far -- but she returned back to Rusalka all the more armed with knowledge of their peers.
