Ashlar always glowed under praise and this was no exception.  If this wolf thought that he would do fine, then perhaps he really would.  His best would need to be good enough because he could not do more.

Thank you,  he responded shyly, and his tail swept the ground behind him a few times.  He liked Illidan's company, and would share it for however long the man remained here, parting ways only once he moved on. It was nice to speak with another even for just a little while.
