"But ... " she hesitated, simultaneously flustered and proud for what she was about to admit. "I envy them—they're so in love," and getting more action than she could ever achieve. "And they've created a family with so much love." At this point, Eshe wasn't sure if she'd ever have a family.
When they began to walk, she kept his pace, walking close enough for their fur to occasionally touch. It was thrilling, and she quickly glanced at him, wondering if he felt like she did.
"Food brings wolves together," she said. "Each pack can bring prey to share, and we can feast, mingle, and have a good time." A sly smile crossed her lips. "I could even ferment some fruit if we want to have a really good time."
