Hushed Willows Another chapter finished.

He had found Minnow and spent a day longer than he had meant to searching for Aeryn. The entire time the guilt of leaving Elysium chipped away at his mood until he turned and told Easy and Steph he was going back to get anyone who would come. It had taken two days for him to make his way back as he was reluctant to abandon the search for Aeryn but finally he had to turn back and go to Hushed Willows before anything too terrible happened. 


When he reached the willows he howled from the borders, his tone calling to the members he had helped live through a rough time, asking them to follow him to safety before falling short into abrupt silence as he stared silently into the willows praying that at least a few of them forgave him enough to follow him to safety to continue as peaceful a life as they could.

Easy hung back from the boarders, easily within sight but watching over Vailant and @Minnow a short distance away. She didn't want them too close if Dacio was still around and behaving violently, but she'd also wanted to show support for her brother just in case he was. So she'd told them both to stay low, and had told them to run and hide but to stay together if things got hairy.

"Will @Atwood come with us?" Valiant wanted to know, looking longingly toward the willows where his father stood. "Or can I at least say goodbye to him? If Dad says it's safe?"

"As long as your father agrees," Easy replied, purposefully only answering the boy's second question.

She had only heard bits and pieces from when the adults had been talking to one another but she didn't like the tension in the air and everyone being gone. "What happened? Was this my fault too?" Had she disappeared and this happened just like what happened with her mom. A light whine came from her muzzle and she looked down.

It had been a while and much to his dismay, nobody hailed his call. His ears slowly flattened back and he sighed, shifting uneasily. Had Dacio proven to be better for Elysium than he was? He couldn't do anything about it if he had, if Elysium was content then so was he. When Minnow asked if she was to blame he turned and shook his head "No wanderer, it's none of our faults" he said softly, doing a poor job at hiding how badly this was making him feel. If anyone was to be blamed it was himself. With a sigh he turned to his family, eyes sad and motioned for them to follow them away. He prayed that perhaps @Meadow had heard his call and would find them soon but otherwise it seemed that everyone wanted to stay in the willows under their new leader. "We should find Dawn...just to check on her. See it shes okay, if she wants to join us" he spoke as he walked away, not wanting to hang around yet another place he had failed to lead.

Sunny's call had not been missed, though the girl had been a bit further for instant appearance. As her pale silver form crept into view, the yearling offered a shy smile, her bright eyes scanning the few that stood here now. She wasn't sure what was going on, and inquisitively, she looked to Sunny, her wolfish brows lifting in quiet question. They were leaving but to where? With a dipped muzzle, the girl swept forward, her silent acquiescence more than revealing her intent to follow the little bit of family she had left.
