@Zephyr 'sup (forwarddated a few days ahead)

It looks like getting into shitty situations was sort of Āzon's thing by now. That attack from the toungless raven a few days ago had him a bit more on edge then usual, though not unusually so. He just needed to stay clear of any more crazy ass wolves trying to come after his tail.

Dawn broke a couple of hours ago, and the sun was disappearing amongst the dissolving light. At this point of the day, there was nowhere farther he wanted to travel right now. Maybe these hollows will make a decent resting place...

vague for now! ty for starting <3
The trip home is a somber one, bearing news he doesn't want to bring to his loved ones. But he has to, so he trudges onward, hating every moment of it. A hunt calls his attention away from his thoughts momentarily — but even that ends up ruined. The presence of another wolf interrupts, scent fresh, and it only takes a sharp turn and a few silent steps for him to come upon the figure. A pale wolf, illuminated in the dimming light. He halts where he stands, chuffing to catch the other's attention before whoever it is notices him independently. If the stranger knows they've been spotted, perhaps an attack will be less likely. He isn't eager to repeat what had happened at the springs — even if it'd brought him Pheiros.

Sorry for the wait!

He wasn't due to enjoy the dawn's breeze for much longer alone, as the presence of someone was sensed just behind him. The hackles on his spine rose ever-so slightly for a moment in thought of that purple-eyed witch from before coming to sneak up on him -- but the footsteps were soon followed by a chuff. This was no sneak attack, they wanted Āzon to know they were here...

The general's head would turn in the direction of the approacher, and his odd hardened eyes were met with the embodiment of winter. Their icy gaze is what hit him the hardest and made a chill run up his spine by just how sharp they were. "You scared th'shit outta me..." he rumbled, mostly to himself, but it could've been loud enough for the other to hear if they were listening.

The pheonix turned in their direction to face the stranger, visually assessing them before meeting their gaze again with suspicion. "Who're you?"
