Name Already in Use

Hello! I have a question and haven't been able to find an answer that had been posted in the past so I thought I'd ask now.

I plan on bringing a new character onto WOLF, but the name I want to give the character has already been taken (Finn). However upon searching up the account currently using the name, I found that it has been inactive for 3-4 years.

Is there anything I can do about this? Any suggestions for naming characters to get around this issue?

We have criteria for claiming inactive usernames in the Maintenance thread, so if the account meets the criteria, you could request the username for your own use.

If it doesn't meet the criteria, you can name the character account "Finn Surname" and it will still be acceptable.
