All Welcome
backdated to the 27th!

Good rest and a meal had our Sequoia in as good a spirits as she could be. Jorunn would likely soon be on her way to the bypass, but Sequoia still had much ground to cover. Her paws took her to the ocean now, scanning the horizon and noting the drifting pieces of land that floated in the water. Heavy scents appeared on the coast, which led her to believe wolves lived out there. Potential friends who might help her rescue Indra and Abel.

With their proximity to Sapphique, Sequoia could only guess that they were allies (or at the very least friendly with one another). That would bode well for her cause.

But how to get to the islands from here? Sequoia could swim, but it did not seem an easy swim, and she did not want to risk her life for it, so she stood on the coast contemplating her options. She decided to wait for half a day, and if nobody came, she would move on.

Al is currently hidden and just watching for now. ;)

Alduin moves along the borders of the islands a lot. Usually because he cannot sleep and/or is bored as all hell. Today, he does the same thing. With his entity, Banesteppe, next to him the whole way. The man annoys him to no end, but he does prove to be useful when Alduin craves conversation. Which is usually never, but sometimes Banesteppe doesn’t give him an option.

Though, today is still different. There is someone at their coast. Alduin sees them from his spot in the trees on the edge of one of the islands. His eyes squint in suspicion as he takes in their form. Pale and spotted they are and Alduin decides he’s never seen them before in his life. It’s then he wonders who they are, but his desire to be unseen and unheard by those outside of Blackwater wins. He will not speak to them, but he will watch. Deciding he will only intervene if they begin the swim over to the islands.

Until then, he would wait and watch to see if any other members of Blackwater register the strangers presence.

Lazuline stepped on the mainland for the first time in a long time.

She expected to be elated about it. She’d dreamt of this moment after all; to finally be away from that dreary hell of an island. She’d even fantasized about leaving altogether more often than not.

And here’s the chance to do so. Not a soul to stop her. Yet she did not stray further than the sandy shore. She left something on the island, she felt in her heart. Though she did not know exactly what nor had she the will to figure it out.

So Lazuline paced the shore, irritated by her own hesitance. It was there she spotted another woman. She walked to her.

Hello, she greeted flatly. Her gaze briefly followed the woman’s towards the island and she frowned. There’s nothing special over there you know.

Nothing special? Sequoia turned to the wolf who spoke. Mmm, good to know. I will move on. She would not waste her time when she had so little of it. Laurel, Druid, Witch, and now Jorunn waited for her. She had to keep moving. There were many more places she needed to go before she could return home.
