With eyes open and ears (mostly) upright, Stratos was ready to take on the world!

Or maybe, at least, to take on whatever lay outside the den entrance today. He had revelled in the moments spent upon the hide when Kukutux had brought them out to continue her work, and though he was within the denmouth today, he wished for this moment again. So once he was (mostly) sure Kukutux was asleep, the little knight crawled towards the grey sunlight on oversized paws, glancing over his shoulder every couple of seconds to make sure he was still in the clear (and that mom was still (probably) asleep). Before long he sprung forward and scampered into the daylight to meet the world outside.

shikoba has enjoyed watching her little Mojag continue to grow. while her litter may be small in size, she was simply too proud of the fact that someone from her body would grow into a wolf of value, a wolf worth his own pride. perhaps when he was more sure-footed and a bit plumper and able to make his own way around the world, she would take him on the adventures to the outside. but for now, the woman decided to leave her darling son for a moment with his father @Inutsuk

she had no doubts he would be able to handle such an event as babysitting. so, the woman, after filling mojag's belly with milk, set off in search of the matriarch. she had been meaning to pay a visit since her parturition to see how she and her little faired.

thankfully, the woman could see movement towards the mouth of her ulaq and eyes lay upon stratos. he was quick, a lively little boy! shikoba could hardly keep her excitement to herself as she came in closer. tail wagging as she lowers her head down to get a better look at him. a quick glance to see what was happening inside before taking another step closer, shikoba puffs her nose at him in a playful manner.

Whoa! Stratos skittered back when the woman came into view, eyes wide and fur all spiked about his nape. He'd charged into the daylight ready for everything, but hadn't expected someone to meet him so soon!

And she puffed at him with a mighty breath -- and surely he ought to do something! But rather than snap at the air, he found himself giving a sharp sneeze and a mighty shake of his little head. How dare she catch a knight off guard! He recognized her scent as something familiar -- something mother carried herself. Warm and milky.

So Stratos sprung at her like he would at Kukutux, or either of his sisters, when they tried to tussle with him, and aimed at her paw with the thought he might throw her off balance and slay the great dragon before him!

he's a brave one, blowing back his own little breath towards the dragon woman that towers above his tiny figure; shikoba cannot help but feel the need to play along. mojag would find great delight in knowing that one of his brothers from kukutux would welcome his playful antics.

she would lift her paw, away from the little knight, and now she aims to brush against his belly, in hopes of usurping his little attempt to bring the mighty woman down. though, now she would settle into the play position, chin resting on the ground with her chest as her rump and tail remain in the air. another puff of air, a challenge for him to strike once more.
