Autumn had the lands in an iron vice, it's amber hues spreading across the lands by now. The world was preparing for winter. Soon, the valleys and the mountains and the fields in their entirety would be blanketed by a sheet of white, and the peach was not excited. Not in the slightest. Furrowed brows made that evident.
She'd moved east from the lake, and her sights were now set upon the meadow a few ways in front of her. Despite the orange hue of the grasses and the trees surrounding the field, it remained plush, vibrant. As if it were its own little world, absolved of all the chills and the colours of autumn time.
Georgia stepped within the meadow, letting the tall grasses tickle her underbelly, dipping her head to take in the floral scents. She moved forwards, making her way to the center of the field, before she'd let herself down. First, onto her rump, then her belly, and she'd roll over on to her back. Paws held upwards by her chest.
And she'd watch the sky like this. Her peachy-gradient tail swayed beneath her, blonde undersides open to air. She watched the clouds above her, the sun shining down. A breeze on a sunny day, surrounded by flowers.
What could be better than this?

Dwin had thought that by now she would be near the coast, but it seemed as if the wilderness was not willing to let go of their prodigal daughter. Whenever she attempted to take the straightest path, something happened and her plans would either be hindered or she would have to take detour. Besides shortage of prey was another problem. Sure - Dwin could run on her reserves and hope the life would offer something better at the shoreline, but by now she had learned that the great waters could give you plenty and then leave you with nothing for weeks. In summer she would take her chances - now, however, she had to save the energy. Winter was just about to begin.
She was drawn to the meadow for far less esthetic or spiritual reasons than the she-wolf she was going to find there resting. Acquiring food was on top of her priority list and she worked diligently to fulfill this task. She sniffed and tracked and after many failed attempts was rewarded. A meager dish, but she was not picky. Who knew, when would the next one appear. Then, while walking she noticed first a set of paws sticking up from the grass - a curious sight and for a moment there Dwin wondered, whether there were actual paws growing from the ground. Or - the next thought was more sinister - what if someone had been buried alive upside down?
Curious, she drew closer, until she saw the owner of the paws, who seemed to be in perfectly good health, enjoying their life. "Is it a good view?" Dwin asked her, approaching in a friendly manner, and briefly casting her own gaze up at the sky, should there be something of importance to see.

The sound of approaching paws—or more so the scent of a meal upon a hungry maw—grew weariness within Georgia's mind. She stilled herself, then, careful, ears perked, but a girl eventually broke through the shrubbery, green eyes filled with a friendliness that made the peach visibly relax.
A gesture for the girl to come lay beside her, should she wish, before using a single paw to vaguely motion towards the sky.
Georgia looked over at the girl, then.
An amazin' one,she sang in response.

Look at them clouds, hun', an' tell me whatcha see,a smile upon a pink face, glowing, radiant. A cloud, then, crossed her vision, and she gasped.
See? See! That one's a rabbit. Got the ears n' everythin'.
Georgia looked over at the girl, then.
Ya ever been cloud-gazing befo'e?
