Now, finally, Moorhen found the time to visit Yuelong, and to look in on the male that'd been injured in her fight a while back. She had every hope that he'd survived his wounds, but his ghost haunted her still. She sought out @Aiolos today with the idea that seeing him alive and well would help lay this spirit to rest.

The waves were kind to her on her way across the sandbar — she'd timed her visit well, and found the time to stop just before the island to tip back her head and howl. This heralded her arrival; she rolled up on the sand along with a particularly buoyant wave a few minutes later, nearly tripping over her paws in the surf but still managing to keep herself from faceplanting in the water. This was fortunate; she would've hated to arrive at her former home only to be laughed out of the place.

And survive the man had, though not without bloodshed, not without injury which still plagued him till this day. Only three, stiffened the muscles along one side of his neck was when he woke in the mornings where muscles had been damaged in the fight. Still, he had survived and had it not been by the aim of those at his side-Moorhen, Hua, Minori… he may not have been here this day to trot along the sands of his island home.


A call sounded out to him, familiar, but he could not exactly place it. Aiolos had never heard the song of her howl before. Though, as he came near to it, the Greek would quickly remember the unique pattern of the woman-a darkened brown of coating with creamy markings that move down towards her undersides.


Moorhen... A breathless whisper of her name and after a moment, a smile touched the features of Aiolos' expression. She had not stayed long after her visit here. Only long enough to get better and once more begin her travels as a wanderer made to wander. At that point Aiolos was still very much healing and had not the opportunity to wish her luck on her further ventures. She had been well off, it seemed.
