Valette didn't expect that Grayday would miss Ezekiel, but she then realized that he was just as much a friend and packmate to Grayday. Of course he would miss him too. Where she thought he had a girlfriend but it didn't seem to be the case and they bonded. Or while they were traveling together and having fun. It had been very playful.
