Heron Lake Plateau Just a basket full of memories

His first reply didn't surprise her too much- she'd put it at about a 50/50 chance that she'd actually get to practice, but then he seemed to eye her up and down and change his mind. She laughed at his comment, and circled away from him slightly, ears perking, tail curling slightly and her posture lowering so that she was slightly crouched, ready to bound this way or that. His play bow was an invitation, but she wasn't sure she wanted to make the first move, assuming that he'd hzd less experience sparring than she did. 

So she mirrored him, even though a play bow wasn't exactly where she wanted to start, in terms of defense postures. "Bring it, kid," She said, jabbing her chin in an upward nod, giving him the first move.
