Heron Lake Plateau We might fall in love- or fall apart

The way Screech simply tried to dismiss her did nothing but rile her up even more. He leaned toward her and she moved back, but not quickly enough. His sticky, vile paw swept across her fur as he slid to the ground and she moved to her feet, hackles lifting as he settled to the ground. That smell- she finally registered it. Now she remembered the foul mood he'd put her in, the chase, and the smash. 

"You...idiot," She hissed, voice still low- she wasn't sure why he thought she was shouting. She could hardly stand her own voice much above a whisper, let alone shouting. She growled softly, which was as loudly as she dared. "You headbutted me after you spooked the elk I was tracking!" She accused.
