Valette looked at the stranger, Clay's friend, clearly already knowing the answer before he verbally admitted that he was in fact part of the Nightwalkers. Valette's fur bristled, unsure how to react now. She didn't really want to attack him, in fact, Clay had told her that if she ever ran into a Nightwalker she had to run for her life. However, today there was one member of that pack that saved her son. She returned her attention to Valour as he wispered something. "You let him go? You allowed him to escape? What is that for twisted truth. If you wanted to keep him safe you should have known that he would be safer with his family instead of keeping a child your pack kidnapped!!," she huffed, ears flattening.
Her frown turn to her own son. "I am not going to attack him. He saved you!," she returned to Clay. "You were the one that warned me for them. You said that if I ever ran into a Nightwalker I should run in order to save myself. So perhaps you can understand my confusion when the wolf that saves you is a Nightwalker, and clearly a pretty high ranked as well since he 'allowed' you to escape," she commented, perhaps a bit sharply. She didn't know what to think about this, or why Clay would tell her such thing when it wasn't true? She looked between the two of them. "This whole story just doesn't make sense." Had Clay lied to her? What more was there to the story? What were they hiding? Still, she wouldn't attack the male for it. Clearly he did care about her son but it was all strange to her.
