Dawn broke, bathing the valley in a soft, golden glow and when Ameline awakened, she felt as if she herself shimmered as well. Alongside her slept her mate, and when she gazed at his sleep-softened visage, she felt an urge she’d felt before- except now, it was much stronger. 

Almost aggressively she burrowed her muzzle into the crook of his neck, lifting his head with little bumps of her nose. She grumbled urgently, murmuring his name quietly at first- but decided immediately that she was being too gentle. 

”@Ancelin!” She barked suddenly.
