Stone Circle The mess is mine

Arlette had been watching from the stones. She had been watching from a distance how the pack split. One group went after the big herd and the other group only went after one. Arlette wasn't sure why but later it made sense. The group was chasing away the big pack. The bison was fighting and Arlette noted how Vespera had gotten a kick, and how close her mother had been to almost get hit. Arlette watched in amazement.

As soon as the other group joined them, the bison seemed to fall. They were with so many that they almost had to win. She noted that some were on top of the prey to keep it down while others were biting and hurting the animal. Once the victory howl sounded the female saw it as an okay for her to come out from the stone circle. The female rushed down the hill towards her pack members. She wanted to join too!

The girl got to the group and tried to join with the howl, but she was probably a bit late. The pale girl rushed to her mother and curiously glanced at the bison. Blood was everywhere and she couldn't remember seeing so much blood after a hunt. Her mother didn't really smell like herself. Arlette glanced around to the adults, was she allowed to approach the beast? It was so big! She felt really tiny compared to it.
