All Welcome
@Sialuk ! This is set for late afternoon of yesterday to get my timelines right for another thread!

He wavered from his loyalty to his duty.

Now, it seemed, he was only doing this out of obligation to warn. To ensure that these wolves wouldn’t have a war on their doorstep should Akashingo take aim at their traitor inside of someone’s borders.

Aquillius was ragged when he came trotting up the spear, panting unhappily, tongue jogging with his steps. He had lost much of the mountain climbing calluses he’d built up, and had only just started to gain them back. His feet reminded him of it with every step. The boy blew out a short little breath.

Then, he threw his head back with a summoning howl, though a little throaty.

thank you for your patience!

A strange figure called for her, and Sialuk answered the call by coming down from the mountain with her head and tail held high. Yellow eyes were soft upon him, seeking only the best in those she did not know. Curiosity surged through her as she awaited whatever he wished from the spear.

She was quick to join him, though no words were spoken. Aquillius breathed a short breath, before drawing in another.

Greetings, ma’am. I’m Aquillius, a soldier from Akashingo. I bring news. Inhale, exhale.

The pharaoh of the mesa has recently ousted a high ranking military official known as Khaba. He may come this way seeking allies. He is a man taller and thicker than I, with a black coat and silver eyes. Akashingo wishes for his head and his heart.

A soldier. Sialuk thought of Glaukos, wonder what had become of him. She would send thoughts to him at her shrine tonight, calling him to her.

Strange words, strange names, strange places. None of these things were familiar to her, and Sialuk did not interfere in things she did not know. Moonspear does not know this man, nor this pharaoh, mesa, or Akashingo, Sialuk said. She remained where she was, making no move to chase him off, nor let him pass.
