For @Kharybdis
There was a break in the snowstorms and in those moments, Aiolos took the opportunity to leave the safety of his island and onto the mainland. To the south as he looked over the mainland of the Teekon Wilds, heavy storm clouds roared, rolling forward north. His time was limited.
Here, over the Sea, brilliant stars twinkled in the open black sky. He smiles to them, the Moon Goddess' glow of light dancing over his flaming pelt as he moved along the coastline. He'd hope to scout out for a larger kill for his pack while time allowed or to maybe seek out his allies and inquire of their safety through all these storms.

once more, kharybdis finds himself roaming the sealion shores; rightfully wary of the massive sealions. he gives them a wide berth as he’s done the first time, for despite that in the shadows they look like a pile of lumpy, snoring rocks upon the night cooled sand, kharybdis does not trust them not to strike out and attack. he’s never fought one before and frankly, has no desire to in the herenow nor the distant future.
while snow dusts the sands where the high, frothy tide does not reach despite it’s best efforts; kharybdis keeps a keen eye to the sky. the night is clear, the stars laid out in a celestial map that he cannot help but feel he would ever learn it’s full secrets. he could devote his whole life to trying to, at the least. it sounds like an admirable goal while he had no others. a glimpse of movement catches the furies’ eye and he lets out a low chuff to announce his presence; wishing to avoid startling the other wolf.

Amber hues were set out towards the heavens yet still as a low chuff could be heard over the waves. Ginger ears flicker back to the sound and then round upward again as he turns to meet the attention of the stranger traveling along the coast such as himself. He was a man of molted colors, black, brown and cream with eyes so dark that in the dim night lighting, looked black. A bit of an eerie looking wolf, but Aiolos had encountered 'spooky wolves' before.
Hello...The Greek says only for the moment to the stranger, wondering if their time together would be in brief passing or if the Moon Goddess had guided them both here for a reason.

the other male responds to his chuff with a greeting — in common. having spent enough time in these wilds, kharybdis, loathe though he is to accept it, knows he must make more of an effort to learn common. he holds onto the brief consideration that if he does not assimilating himself would prove to be more impossible than he'd like and with the blatantly different culture barriers this was already proving to be a challenge for him. regardless, as they were of the same physical gender kharybdis has no qualms about speaking and wouldn't have anyway; in his mind, however wrong the assumption was, they were equals.
hello.the furie parrots; finding that if nothing else he was beginning to have the simple greeting down.
you ...from pack here?he inquires, hoping that the blunted, caveman common is enough to give the stranger a gist of the actual question: is your pack nearby? last thing kharybdis was interested in ( or needed, frankly ) was traipsing too close to a territorial pack.

The other man greets with civility, though as he inquires Aiolos picks up quickly to the heavily accented voice. He, obviously, was not from here as Aiolos was, though that did not mean he was a foreigner to Aiolos by any means. Having lived in Yuelong for quite some time, he had adapted to the clipped and accented vocals of many who had come and gone from the island. This man's accent however was different, one which Aiolos remembered from another land some time ago...
He decides then, to test the waters...
There. The fiery coated wolf gestures with a jut of his cream and ginger muzzle. Deciding he did not speak common well, Aiolos made well to avoid sentences where they were not needed. They were wolves, after all, and need not words to reflect communication and Aiolos was accustom to language barriers. Aiolos turns back, the tail ay his backside relaxed between his legs, russet ears perked high with curious nature though he stands erect, confident.
