Well now he sure was smoothe. She felt herself pulled toward him, a sizzle seeping into her eyes and a ripple flitting down her spine when he apologized for having not seen her before. She felt the same way- wait, no she didn’t, she was a married woman... wasn’t she? She couldn’t help herself though, and a coy smile found its way onto her lips. ”As am I,” She practically purred, surprising herself with how endearingly she spoke. It was intoxicating- being so close to someone who she thought felt the same. And she wanted nothing more than to throw all caution to the wind and enjoy his company in as many ways as she could.

But there was still business to attend to- and she finally found out the truth that Rory had lied. Her ears flicked forward with surprise, and then back with regret. Running away had likely made the Drageda wolves both concerned and mad. ”I’m sorry- we didn’t know...She’s pretty convincing,” She said. None of them had doubted her when she’d come to join them. Naturally, Rory fit in well with the Redhawks, and apparently he’d already seen her and she’d not wanted to go back. They were all fond of her too- and she remembered, then, the talk she’d had with Rory about Tegan, and she smiled softly.

”I think she’s become a bit...Attached, to a few of the wolves here...One in particular,” She said. ”She’s certainly not worn out her welcome so we would be sad to see her go- but, I understand,” She said. ”You must have been worried, if she ran off without any explanation,” She said. ”I hope it’s at least some comfort to know that she’s healthy and thriving.”
