Valette didn't bother shaking herself off since she knew that she would get muddy again. It was these moments that she was the happiest with the kids smiling and looking so happy. She grinned at Kallik, clearly, he had liked the sliding as well. Valette started to climb the hill and look at Charles and Ikiaq. She trotted to the top. She then looked from Charles to the pups. Her eyes lit up, the mud trail was wide enough. "We can do a race? Charles and Iki, and Kallik and me. The first one down wins!," she challenged the others and went to lie down at the start of the mudslide. Her tail wagging.
