@Derg last but not least, #9!!

If war was personified, Nyra was a logical contestant to the job. Calling for Derg again, the Harbinger waited with the thrumming excitement of combat flowing through her.

Yeah, Nyra lived up to her name or Harbinger.
Setting the example to the pack that this was a place of war.
To train, to expect battle.

He lingered close to the pale woman, knowing she'd call again once her aches subsided.
He emerged quietly, watching her with intent.
He expected this to be the last for a while. He couldn't keep up, and Nyra was stealing all the time Derg wanted to have with Arlette.

By this point, Nyra was starting to feel a bit guily and self-conscious of her constant calls to her Overseer.
As he emerged, she offered him a silent apology as she got ready for the final spar, for now at the very least. She wouldn't topple him with summons like today again anytime soon.

"I know I've been a nuisence lately, given all my summons...you have my word, this one will be the last spar between us, at least for a while." Taking a small stance, once Derg was also getting in position, she would be analyzing.

Not that she wasn't aching from her insisted efforts, but oh well.

He only smiled as she seemed not so bold as she had been before.
She was regretting it a bit, and he could say no.
But he wanted to fight just as much as she did.
"I like to think I'm not old, but my bones are telling me otherwise," he chuckled softly.

She already had her stance fixed, so he took that as an invitation.
He pulled himself together and charged for har again.
He dipped his head, driving straight for her chest.
Hoping to barrel into her chest, and either knock her down or wind her.

Well...he did both. Try as she might to jump over him in time (the 3 roll), the fates were not favoring her right now, thus she went to the ground like a falling tree, crashing and rolling, all the while trying to keep herself calm enough to get back up and get her bearings back once she stopped on the dying grass

She tried to avoid him, using her height to leap over him.
But he was too quick, and knocked her legs, sending her down onto the ground.

He slowed, turning. Watching her rise.
Derg swung back to her, running to attack again. This time he rose to hail his paws down onto her head.
A distraction more than anything.

rolled a 7!

She rose no doubt, but as his paws came for her head she staggered briefly in surprise, turning her teeth to seek one of his forelimbs as it came down, and if she connected, she tugged and shook in an effort to knock him off balance, though she knew, begrudgingly, that this would leave her open to him pulling any number of other tricks on her.
