It surprised her when Kas pursued her, laughing and making jabs. Druid stopped, looking in bewilderment at the woman, really not sure what to make of her at this point. Clearly they weren’t destined to be comrades, so they should go their separate ways.

I’m going to fish now, she said after a long, uncomfortable pause.
