@Cerulean @Marten either/both are welcome, or any healers; i'm assuming @Kavik would've asked someone to take a look at him
He doesn't really like the thought of a stranger getting near him, but every time he thinks about fleeing before his tormenter-to-be a medic can arrive, he remembers the look of concern on his father's face. He hadn't been too worried about it himself until he'd seen that; since Cupid (I'm assuming) tended his wounds, he hasn't really felt them as intensely as he did that first day. Only the occasional dull ache throughout the day reminds him that he's still healing - rather slowly, actually, though he has no way of knowing it.@Cerulean @Marten either/both are welcome, or any healers; i'm assuming @Kavik would've asked someone to take a look at him
Overall, he thinks he's fine (he's wrong). But even the thought of upsetting his father so soon after finding out that he hadn't died under the rocks that had taken most of their family makes his stomach churn painfully and his throat tighten with nausea. So he stays where he is, seated but shifting restlessly every few moments. He half-hopes that whoever his father sends to him comes quickly, if only to get the whole thing over with sooner. The other half of him hopes that they somehow trip and fall into a very deep hole before they can reach him.

At some point she'd been informed that a silver-clad wolf had been brought to them, and that Kavik was watching over them in the same hawkish manner that he tended to his daughter Lainie, which gave rise to many thoughts within Ibis. She did not want to dredge up any negativity or bad memories for any of their little family and so she did not ask questions, merely went about her duties—until she overheard some talk about needing a medic—and set about trying to piece together what little she could recall from Elysium. Her mothers had been adept at mending injuries (and they had to be, considering they ran a sanctuary) and Ibis had picked up a little bit from them.
There wasn't much to find at this point though, at least not to the inexperienced young woman. She dug through the frozen ground to get at some tender roots left over from an autumnal weed of some sort, carefully peeled some soggy bark off one of the pale trees, and created a bouquet of assorted greenery which looked less than stellar... But it was the best she could do, given the time of the year and her own limited understanding of the native flora. Afterwards she began to hunt for the argent child and found them hidden in a dugout near to where Kavik patrolled — but she did not approach outright.
Ibis carefully placed the bundle of various plants upon the soil and began to scour the area for a cache, as she knew it was easier to consume plants when there was something tasty with which to wash them down—but the hunting lately had been lacklustre, so when she finished excavating one of the shallow caches nearby she found a few sad looking squirrels leftover from earlier in the season, and sighed, not knowing if it would be enough. She peeled one frozen carcass off of another and then gathered up the herbs, turned around, and headed towards the foreign scent emanating from between the trees.
As she came upon where the silver creature was coiled, she placed the bundle down and called out softly,

Um -- hello? Zephyr, are you awake?
sorry for the wait on this! we can keep it short if you want
The approach of another momentarily lifts his mood, until he realizes it's probably the healer. And then he realizes it's a girl, and his mood sours even further. He rises slowly at her call, doing his best to mask his irritation with the situation as he glances over her. She's older than him, clearly, but not much bigger — and pretty. He frowns, gaze dropping at the foreign thought.Who're you?He mumbles to the ground, eyes flitting briefly to the bundle the girl had set down before returning to the snow between his paws. His discomfort is so intense that he can't even summon any anger. All he feels is awkward and oddly exposed — as if the girl can see right through him, and somehow knows how broken he is, how many awful things he's done. He doesn't like it at all.

She worried that she had disturbed the sleeping wolf, and fell quiet, listening as long as she could before becoming introspective; she could come back another time, and leave these herbs if that was better... But before long the stranger called back to her, their voice sharp and their eyes trailing to the herbs.
My name is Ibis. I'm here to help you.She offered with a level tone. It might've been easier to get her way if Ibis mentioned her rank (or carried herself in any way like a leader, which she rarely did), but she did not want to lord her position over anyone nor force them in to compliance. She did not move from her spot just in case her presence disturbed the silver wolf.
There are for you, if you'd like. I tried to find something to help wash them down but, hunting is pretty grim right now.A little shrug of her shoulders.. And then she carefully nosed the bundle closer, and stepped back, planting herself on her haunches.
