All welcome, but flagging @Caiaphas — this could be set after Aktaie visits BDP and before 'phas goes looking for Junior.

Sorry for the bad post, still feeling crappy. :(

Part of her was glad that Peregrine had left, for she felt uncomfortable with such an irrational male leading a neighboring pack; but it seemed the plateau had traded one untrustworthy leader for another. Dante was hiding something concerning Junior, the matriarch was almost positive... and while Aktaiê was content to let the juvenile go free, she disliked the thought of the plateau's leader lying to her face in return for her attempt to do the right thing. It was the principle of it all.

She had returned from her trip in a mood, and the matriarch made her way to the Sound's hidden beach in search of one of her acolytes. They would get to the bottom of the plateau's suspicious behavior, and exact whatever payment they deemed necessary.

hope you are feeling better today! EDIT; ARCHIVING THIS, MILD PP HOPE THAT IS OK

Caiaphas was watching the border rather sulkily, pacing back and forth as she tried to determine the vagrant coyote's point of entrance into their enclave. It did not sit with her well that her brethren were comfortable in such close proximity, and even after she and Greyjoy had dispatched the loner she still felt a sense of stifled outrage.

It seemed at that moment Aktaie too was conflicted by some vested emotion -- and Caiaphas looked up in time to see the Matriarch stride purposely back into camp. Without a word she shadowed the female, falling in step behind her as she awaited some sort of diction or command from the agouti female. The two of them fell into conversation and Aktaie told her a great deal about the recent proceeding. Rapt, Caiaphas listened until the alpha spoke no more -- and soon after, the two quit each other's company.
