a child. caiaphas' ears pulled forward and for a moment there was a stirring in her heart. she quelled it almost immediately, harshly -- the way one might tamp down an offending spider with a sharp heel. she would not, and could not, extend her heart to loss again.

she was not surprised to hear of his successful conquests, both in title and in the bedroom. as far as she was concerned, the ghost of a male was a force not even she would dare reckon against.

"in any event, a child of yours is welcome here. i'll show you where we live.. but you know -- you've been to the grotto before." she grinned wryly, issuing a wink of one eye. [b]"you'll be right at home."[/]

with that the gangly wolf turned, padding towards the grotto for a looked-forward-to nap.
