revui was first to harry the beleaguered beast, which slung great claws at his brother's legs and snarled in fear. arcturus lead the defense with a growl, and threw himself upon the berserk creature; much in the manner holy water would be thrown upon a thing possessed.

he had little experience, and it cost him greatly, for the wolverine turned its attention upon its nearest assailant (a bumbling, clumsy assailant which it could feel and hear in such close proximity) and scythed once, twice, thrice -- until arcturus weakly wheeled back, stupefied and bloody.
