It had become official - Aiolos was a wolf of Courtfall. Never before had he been able to make his own decision on where he was to live and what he was to do with his life. One would think him to be enlightened by this newfound opportunity, by the world at his paws, the freedom from the past fading away behind him.... No.

Aiolos was but overwhelmed, lost. Without command and without duty, he found himself spinning out of control. It had been a constant in his life before. He needed watch his back as a very child, to learn hard, work harder, to prove he was even fit for life being the basterd child that he was. And when the Nereides took him? Finally he had placement to fight for amongst the men. Ovid, a man to lead him, guide him in a manner which he'd never before. As a man, Olo was but a a shadow under a woman's command, a grunt for mere guarding or breeding purposes only.

Now what? He needed... something, anything...

Restless, anxious, he strode the borders of his home throughout nightfall, taking it upon himself to guard them as he had been commanded to do so time and time again. It was all he knew to do now other then to slip away time and time again to try and find his missing unit. He wouldn't tonight, only wander. Wander until he found this quaint little pool of water at the rocky outskirts of their own where the mountains receded. A small waterfall, if you could call it such, broken up into small bits and tinkling down the rocks into this small lake, only to form into stream and into the very creek which ran throughout the entirety of their Vale.

The side of his muzzle turned up in a half smile. It was a pretty little place. The sound of the pouring waters relaxing. The fiery wolf sighed and settled down near the edge.
