arcturus considered wraen's question as she made her way down the stoneface. it was not so much that his experience at moonspear was irrelevant -- it was more so that moonspear and his servitude there was a niche element. it was hard for him to convey this into words.

a smile broke his solemn features as wraen dived disorganized into the snow, pulling white powder from her ruff as she stood besides him. her teasing question was met at last with an answer. not to brush aside her question, which was legitimate -- arcturus fumbled on how to explain his bitterness to see his brother promoted first when he had only ever been loyal to the spear. then, anyway. "i wanted it badly. and i believe perhaps, maybe those who desperately want power are ill-suited to obtain it. in the end i was no better a leader than my brother." he did not care to entertain wraen's suggestion she was old, and so he continued by brushing it aside. "your lack of interest in power is what endows you good leadership qualities. you are able to think about it all -- i was young, and only had tunnel vision for me and my family. this future pack of us, will be more than just bloodline. a collective, where all voices are of the same importance and value." it went without saying this ideal would not have been kindly fostered back at the spear.
