Ky is impressed Nyra isn’t stuck on her side and in labor yet, but he shows his happiness for her sudden presence with a glance in her direction and a subtle wag of a curled tail. He can see her thinking and swears he sees a hint of softness in her eyes. A circular, cream brow rises and he smiles at her this time — a knowing one — just as she gives him one back. 

So the Grandmaster simply nods to her and slots himself beside the dehydrated wolf. If allowed, he’d reach down and enclose his teeth around his scruff and haul him back to his feet. Urging him forward with a push of his massive head to his hip before settling in behind the pair as they walk towards the river. He’ll survive, Kyn has no doubts, but he’s more interested in how he got here in the first place.
