The filthy coywolf cast him a sidelong glance and pulled away from him with superfluous grace, her slender legs carrying her towards the jutting rocks that stood out like swords barred or javelins thrown -- their rough and haggard faces worn wearily by the tincture of time. With an agile leap she was upon them and she bound between them as if they were savaged scaffolding -- landing with a grunt some distance away.
She turned her neck slightly and looked over her shoulder, peering at the wolf she had just departed close company with. The lake wrapped between them and the shore lapped quietly, not too far from her splindly paws. "I do not. I am out here, foraging if you will, or discovering -- whichever word sounds more exciting. What about you?"
