@Aktaie @Psamathe before vector and i fade this out and start a new thread caiaphas needs either approval/disapproval from either of you ICly before we continue! thanks!
She felt the borders of her constrained world slither and with a drumbeat she felt some invisible ceiling lift -- and she watched, nonchalant, as the male suddenly lost consciousness.
She had not expected him to do so - certainly not so dramatically. No sooner than his sides connected with the cold sand Caiaphas stole off to the water, drinking the brine with a careless abandon until the salt prompted her to regurgitate what she had ingested. While this would lightly slake the effects of the fungi, it would not completely eradicate it -- and with a furtive smile she stole back into her den and dragged out veins of hardened and interwoven gulfweed.
With an expert ease that seemed alarming, Caiaphas nudged his legs and placed the weed around them, pulling with precise teeth until the line grew taut. She placed a forepaw on the tension and crossed the slack pieces over each other in a knot, effectively binding and hobbling his front legs together. She left his hind legs free, so that he may sit up when he regained consciousness.
For a moment, she wondered if she should bind his jaws shut too -- but figured by the time he came to he would likely be surrounded by her pack members. With a small smile that suggested she was pleased with her handiwork she threw back her head and howled for both @Aktaie and @Psamathe . It was up to them to either chastise or enable her on what was to be considered her first kidnapping for the Nereides.
