teya thought back on it, and maybe it was not the same. but what bronco offered her sparked a fear in teya that she had not expected, and suddenly all that came to her mind was the depth of feeling she had once held for ibis.
her lips trembled; her breath felt like it shook in her throat. no words came when she tried first to speak, and so teya found herself only gazing at him imploringly.
she had hurt reyes. he had hurt her. she had hurt him and she had finally driven him away. she had hurt bridget. she destroyed things. bronco was wrong to want this for her.
