Ariadne had vivid dreams the night before embarking on her spiritual journey, seeing images of a glacier, golden wings fluttering, and echoing hoots in the night, leaving her feeling more weary than refreshed upon waking. 

She spent her morning with the children, allowing them to guide the activities and putting off the inevitable. Despite recognizing the benefits of the journey for herself, she felt intense guilt for leaving shortly after Kigipigak. When it was time to leave, she took them to @Kukutux's den, kissed each of them on the forehead, hugged them tightly until they let go, and then departed.

She headed northeast, in the direction of Moonsong Glacier.
