Ankyra Sound a walk on the wild side

As the fox defied her command Caiaphas nearly fell upon her in outrage. But as luck would have it (admittedly, Caiaphas was not much of a fighter) just as she shoved forwards to attack the spry fox, she saw out of the corner of her eye Larus' fleeting backside.

The woods were no place at night for an abandoned whelp, and Caiaphas, immediately forgetting her bile, was filled with a sense of urgency to follow him. Stealing one last contemptuous look at the fox (as if to say "look what you did!") Caiaphas turned face quickly and loped down the shadowed path after Larus.
