She smiled as War took her own stance. Not an arrogant or even mocking smile; the one she wore was almost if not entirely similar to a smile you might see on the face of a close comrade, one that has seen many years of battle alongside you. 

Though this was the smile she had, Nyra knew, with some semblance of sadness, that she had not seen nearly as much combat as War seems to have had. 
It's only been a year or so since Nyra took on the art of fighting, and before that, she had very little experience with it at all.
With this acknowledgement, the Overseer waited as the silence settled. 

And then the battle machine burst forward. 
Built much the same as War was body-wise, the Warmaiden rushed forward as well to meet the redfur head-on. 
Teeth to her shoulder from War, Nyra didn't hesitate to try and topple the soldier over with her own brute strength while also arcing her fangs for War's cheek as the fellow wardog pulled away. 

Not a heavy hit, really, but a hit all the same
