What a discovery! He had no idea such an area could exist.

The bear was rather satisfied with himself. Settling down into one of the smaller pools, it was a tight fit - yet he was satisfied. The water was comfortably warm, he nearly let out a yawn.

Now the question would be whether or not he could get out.

Eager to stay warm somewhere that did not require her to constantly be on the move, Dwin had travelled to the only place she knew that offered such comfort. Today had been particularly hard on her - she had not eaten anything in days and to top it all it had rained, drenching her to the bone. Hungry and cold she sought out the welcoming damp heat of the hot springs area. Her desperate mood improved right away and, after immersing her paws in one of the shallower pools of hot water, she felt, how life gradually returned to the freezing phalanxes of hers.

She noted that the air could smell better than the persistent scent of rotten eggs and something just as bad, but for now she could live with it. Having found a nice flat rock to settle down on for the night, she suddenly noticed something big and moving from the corner of her eyes. Dwin turned and froze, taking in the sight of a bear having a great fun time in the pool, the only thing missing was a little yellow duckling and a battle-ship. It was odd to see a bear awake, out and about so late in the year. Which could mean two things - either shortage of food or them having mixed up something in their schedules.

Not wishing to disturb the animal, she sat down and observed him quietly.
