the sky was dark, but brightly jeweled. inkalorë had only recently begun to truly notice the stars, but they had quickly become one of the child's favorite things to observe. the past few nights in particular, they slept less and less in favor of stargazing. they were tires, but they didn't mind.
they were so beautiful and so many, and so, so far away. ink's heart ached whenever they looked up and saw the glittering array winking into view through a dusky sky. they didn't know why, but sometimes they thought of a white wolf with blue eyes. someone they had never met. tonight, they could think of little else. who was this white wolf, ink wondered, and why did the thought of this wolf make them so sad?

Aiolos is not left unaware of his child's interest in the stars. As Kausuit battles with the vision she is gifted with, this one turns to the heavens.  Aiolos remembers a time where he was out at night often to sit by the side of Ruo. To listen as she told him tales of the sky.

He huffs as he comes, a wordless greeting and goes to sit at the side of Inkalorë. A smile is on his face as be looks to the brilliant sky. ουρανός. He whispers.
