belen watched him go with a sting of regret. maybe she should consider accompanying him. the hunts would be continual. but kind as he was, the young creature reminded her of akashingo and that she was bound to return. eventually. for now, belen curled where she was to sleep, too fatigued to move deeper into a shadow.
