Although Kigipigak was watching Sisamat, Asivaq decided to follow him out of the ulaq and into the night. Before leaving the den, she gently kissed her daughters, who had already fallen asleep.

moob,he tried.
mooo-ooo-oo,and again he was reaching for it, pawing at the air as if he might get close enough. he tried leaping at it too, but being so small and so uncoordinated, that did not get him much closer.
