Wheeling Gull Isle wanna go to dreamland

although imperfect, sight and scent were clearer than they had ever been before. huojin's ears had shifted from their place against his skull, allowing him to hear the placid calls of crashing waves. the space surrounding their den was largely secluded, shielded in either direction by water, and so the child could go no further than the doorway.

he sat half-inside, bright eyes staring blankly at the sky. there were lights there, similar to the morning sun but less harsh, less painful. huojin watched them in silence.

The night had always calmed Aiolos and this one was of no difference to him. The moon though halved, still shown up in the skies. The stars seemingly blinking to him. 

He sought out Ruo once more, sought out their son. He was surprised to see the pup daring to toe at the entrance of the rock formation which he only knew as home. He woofs lowly to the pup, his head lowering to sweep a quick lick over the boys sanded brow. Couldnt sleep, little one?

aiolos's affections brought soft, pleased coos from huojin's mouth. he rolled onto his side, pressing the backside of his head against whatever part of his father might be most available, and used his available paws to play with misplaced pieces of sand. soft baby babble could be heard, none of it intelligible, as he ventured on the first of many explorations.

Just at the mouth of the den, Aiolos settles down next to the little sun and sand pup so that any creature (even a passing large bird) would have to go through him in order to get the child as he would circle around him. It also gave the pup an arc at the den entrance to explore yet prevent him from wandering off. 

Content the chold was however to flop against Aiolos front leg, pawing and kicking at the sands. Aiolos, as quiet as Huojin's mother, would watch him. One day soon when he could understand, Aiolos couled teach him of the world around him.
