Totoka River let it spill quietly from your hands

caiaphas kept her gaze level, expecting some sort of catharthis for her shrewd observation. yet none came -- instead, only the looming terror of imminent threat. the large female lurched forward --caiaphas was not quick enough to spring away before her teeth grazed flank and hip, teeth shearing fur from her hide and a large welt of blood appearing. with a snarl caiaphas tried to counter by snapping teeth as she pivoted towards the side in a poorly planned attempt to escape any further advancement. her hip stung, but the graze was skin deep. "you'll pay for that," she seethed, picking up a trot as she circled the wolf as if looking hungrily for a weak point in which to exploit. she had no intention to attack, but she wanted wednesday to think otherwise.
