Sea Lion Shores What immortal hand or eye

Sea lions? Niamh didn't know what lions were, so the whole concept of there being sea lions was lost on her. "They're weird," She commented idly, but was pleased nonetheless that her companion had known what the creatures were called. She gazed at them, her eager companion at her side, before she cast the smaller, doe-like female a glance. She was kind of exotic, for a wolf, with those long, tufted ears, silky fur and deep arch to her ribcage, but nonetheless very pretty, especially with her large, doleful eyes. She said she was in, but timidly, beseechingly, she made one request. 

Niamh wasn't entirely sure, at first, why they couldn't kill one. These were predators- that she could tell by the shape of the teeth she'd seen when one had yaned- but that didn't mean  they couldn't be eaten. Niamh was almost always hungry, and she saw absolutely no reason why one of the smaller sea lions couldn't be a good snack, assuming they could get close enough to touch one without getting bitten and dragged into the water. The only reason compelling her to agree was simply because of the way her companion had asked her, begging her with that soulful gaze. She shrugged one blonde shoulder and gently bumped her hips against the swarthy ones beside her, and nodded. "No kill. Gotcha."

She jumped down off the boulder she'd been perched on, and began to walk in a semi-circle around the animals, looking them over and trying to pick out one that she figured might be easy to touch. She was regarded with wary, black eyes, and she huffed in response. Some seemed to take no notice of her- but the younger ones seemed a bit unsettled. It looked like there was no other option but to try and touch one of the bigger ones, as they didn't seem to deem her a threat. Casting a glance over her shoulder, she nodded- and began to sneak forward, meandering this way and that, nose down, as though to say "I'm not interested in you, just looking for something on the ground," to the sea lions- as if they would understand.
