Nimbus Summit Kiss with a Fist

Well, this was miserable. The slope was slippery, and she was unprotected from the rain's onslaught for the most part as she wandered her way around the mountain's slope searching for signs of any other claims or predator signs. Too hard to find in this rain, anyway- and she hated the precarious footing. This would not be a suitable place to live, not if it was for more than a day or two. With little to no tree cover, she could see for miles, and wasn't sure that even prey animals had remained on the mountain. No- this would not do. 

But as she descended, she found herself catching sight of a glade- mostly hardwood trees from what she could see, so while she knew they would lose their leaves and bare their branches in the winter, for the present time, it would do. She sought shelter in the glads, spent the night in relative shelter, before she began the tiresome journey back to the Copse with her findings.
