Raleska couldn't help the series of depressing thoughts that roamed through her mind as Kaertok busied himself with scenting the area. When he was done, Raleska straightened up. She admired his confidence, but he was speaking to the wolf that had lost everything one rainy spring day: not everything that was lost was ever found.
