his height was composed of legs. so as she met the earth, her shoulder seared between his teeth.

she could eat the earth.

or she could eat him.

so like the child everybody so seemed to scruff her as, she became an ankle biter. in a literal sense. teeth gripped out harshly at the paw that did not hold her down.

clearly he had already won in some sense, to have her pinned beneath, but she still fumed.

and truthfully? like this, it was entirely up to him to call it or continue. she could be nothing more upon the ground than the ankle biter she had become.
