He still seemed a bit shaky- as though something had really rattled him, but he put on a brave act, and Niamh, not wanting to be caught in the middle of some kind of breakdown, simply gave him a friendly smile and trotted off. Had Nevouku been one of her close friends, she likely would have done something different- but to comfort  an acquaintance when she had really no idea what was going on with him was far beyond her. Still- there was hope that in their future encounters that she could simply distract him from whatever it was that seemed to be a trigger, and avoid having a breakdown altogether.
