there was some news to share with @Wyatt -- caiaphas had not been thrilled he had not come to her summons, and for a while, had largely snubbed his existence in turn. all the same, she must confront him eventually.

already caiaphas had twisted the truths in such a way that when she at last came across wyatt, she would have an arsenal of reasons prepared for why he was better off in rusalka. clearly his mother cared little for him -- and caiaphas, no more his mother than a stone, possessed more love for him in the fringe of her heart than laurel in her entire body.

that alone ought to convince him to stay, right..?
