She didn't realize he would be offended by it. She would gladly tell about her first time with Steady, as Grayday already walked into them anyhow. Valette cast a confused glance at Zeke before turning her attention to Nikai's new question. She nodded to indicate she was listening.

Valette chuckled softly. "No, not at all. You can only start to make pups from a certain age, and she would need to smell extra nice. But it can that you like her more than other girls. Usually, you have pups with your mate, like me and your father," she spoke and then realized her error. "I mean, how I was with your father before he died," she corrected then. "So this girl could just be your girlfriend, and become close with her. Go on dates or catch her a nice meal. Things like that. She is welcome here anytime. I would love to meet her."
